About Me

Born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, I graduated in the top 5% of my high school class with 39 college credits. This allowed me to graduate in three years with my undergraduate degree in Business (Marketing) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha during the years of 2020-2023. I attribute much of my college success to my place in the College of Business Scholars Academy, a scholarship group that offered me mentors, specialized courses, and community engagement throughout my entire college career. 

Throughout my undergrad, I gratefully enjoyed my time in the Academy, as well as joined the Student Marketing Association for two years, the Human Resources Association for one year, UNO's club volleyball team, and earned Beta Gamma Sigma honors. On top of that, I held a diverse range of internship experiences. These internships span sports marketing, instructional design, and communications/social media, and they have offered me a wide-range of skills and experiences.

Upon graduation, I began my Master of Business Administration degree, also at UNO. For a teaser of my resume, my design experience started in 2022 with a year-long internship role in Instructional Design at Valmont Industries (an agricultural/infrastructure tech manufacturing company). Upon completion of that role, I returned to UNO's College of Business to work in the Nebraska Business Development Center as a Communications Graduate Assistant. I considered myself a multimedia enthusiast in this role, as I handled videography, newsletter communications, and running NBDC's social media channels (which you will see examples of throughout my portfolio). Simultaneous to my role at NBDC, I was hired as a part-time Training and Development Coordinator for JEO Consulting's HR team. In January of 2024, I transitioned to full-time hours with JEO as I took my studies to a slower pace. I now create eLearning courses for this engineering firm and help manage their LMS among many other things! I'm so grateful to have had the privilege of learning, growing, and thriving in a variety of multimedia positions over the past four years.  View my previous work for visuals! 

Beyond academia and work, I enjoy playing volleyball, working out, practicing calligraphy, indulging in new restaurants, being with my dogs, and settling down for movie nights with lots of popcorn.
